The family enterprise Alfred H. Schütte was founded in 1880. As a leading machine tool manufacturer, Schütte produces and markets multi-spindle automatics as well as tool and universal grinding machines. Schütte is represented on all continents by our foreign subsidiaries and our distribution and trade partners. The average size of our workforce in Cologne in the last few business years was approx. 550 employees. Multi-spindle automatic the most important means of production of high precision mass turned parts, which are produced to a high dimensional accuracy and in high unit counts. The grinding machines are suitable both for the production and resharpening of material removal tools and for rough grinding and finish grinding of production workpieces. The very complex geometries and form elements can be produced as well as medical technology, e.g. for grinding artificial knee or hip joints.
The high-precision 5-axis CNC grinding machines in the 325 series are extremely flexible and universal. They are used in almost all areas of modern industry and are just as suitable for resharpening cutting tools as for pre-machining and finish-machining of production workpieces – even with complex geometries and form elements. All machines in the 325 series are equipped with 5 CNC axes and state-of-the-art digital control engineering. Schütte guarantees simple operation and programming of the machines thanks to the in-house developed software SIGSpro. The modular software is developed continuously and flexibly to meet new requirements (including customer-specific requirements).

Where the demand is for precision coupled with high output rates, the 325linear is top of its class. Its 5 CNC axes are equipped with anti-backlash AC direct drives, with the X-, Y- and Z-axis being driven by linear motors. This makes the machine exceptionally fast, dynamic and accurate, resulting in a better grinding performance, a better surface finish and greater precision.
325linear_The 325 series – large machining area, smal footprint
The 325 series of exceptionally flexible, high-precision, 5-axis CNC universal grinders are used in almost all sectors of modern industry and are as suitable for the manufacture and resharpening of cutting tools as they are for the pre- and finish-grinding of production components, including complex contours and geometries.

Schütte meets the challenge of constantly growing demands in terms of complexity and precision on the part of 5-axis CNC machine tools by a concept that perfectly harmonises engineering, controller and drive system technology, and software. Core components in this system are the efficient and precise drives.
